Agrilia (pronounced A-grili’à) is an organic family-run olive grove in Antiparos. Join us to experience a unique tasting and tour of where and how our organic, high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil is made.
Our organic extra virgin olive oil is produced from olives of the Koroneiki variety, hand-picked in early October. With an intense green, fruity, aroma dominated by notes of freshly-cut grass, herbs, artichoke, tomato and green almond followed by a medium bitter and peppery aftertaste our olive oil is best consumed raw on top of almost any food.
OLIVE OIL TASTING
Join us for a tour and olive oil tasting on weekends starting in the summer and through our olive picking season in early October. Learn about our organic growing practices, visit our on-site mill and hear about the history of the grove. The tour concludes with an olive oil tasting, teaching you to discern an extra virgin olive oil from a defective one and how to properly identify the various sensory attributes of EVOO. We also plan special tours during our olive picking season – just ask!
We are located above Livadia beach, in the Kampos area of Antiparos. Our location in the Cyclades makes us a rarity amongst olive growers but our family’s love of the island led us to start our grove here over twenty years ago. While Antiparos has evolved over the years, Kampos is one of the few remaining areas of the island where small family farms operate, ranging from olive trees to vegetables to bees. We hope that by leading the agrotourism initiative in Antiparos, we can continue to promote the viability of sustainable farming on the island.
